The 10 Most Pirated Movies of All Time [Infographic]

Infographics are a dime a dozen nowadays, as the world figured out that if you want modern society to read things, they have to be splashy and colorful, or be about adolescent wizards. This infographic falls into the former camp, and visualizes what the most pirated movies of all time are, so you can have that information handy when you’re trying to convince your friends that the movie industry is on the way out because of torrents. Or something. Full infographic after the jump.

Poor movie people. There should be a law.

Interesting, shame much of the infographic is hard to understand at a glance.

e.g. The Dark Knight at #2; black text on a very dark bg…  No division between #3 and #4 ewww!

    Is it just me!?

A very pretty fail tho :)

  • ScreamFace

See, for big films like Avatar, Dark Knight it doesn’t really matter. For films like Kick Ass, it really does. That film was brilliant, but wasn’t a big hit. So now we won’t get a sequel or more films like it.

I was half expecting any of the original Star Wars trilogy films to be close to the top. Oh well :/

Except we are getting a sequel and there is more of Mark Millers comics becomming films in the future (look out for Nemesis for example). Kick Ass was a big hit, just not an insane mega super hit, movies rarely need to be that to be very well off, Kick-Ass did very well.

i feel so sorry for mankind…   this choice of crap movies looks so sad
