How Often Are You Connected? You Are Always Connected [Infographic]

We’re living in a digital age, always social networking, always connected. Do you really need anyone to tell you that? Probably not. Do you really need anyone to give you statistics on it and crack jokes about it at the same time? Probably a little more likely. This infographic hailing from OnlineSchools.org, totally everyone’s number one source for infographics, put together this infographic that, while telling you statistics about something you probably already know, is at least artistic and snarky about it.

The art style is straight out of a comic book and presents our hero who looks decidedly too heroic for someone who “star[es] at glowing rectangles” all day. His words, not mine.

Glad I don’t have a stupidass mobile phone. too many bitches calling me, yo.

Wait… ‘sleep next to their cellphones’? What an odd and deliberately leading phrasing. ‘Leave their cellphones by the bed while they sleep’ is more likely. Less likely they moved their bed over to wherever they usually charge their phone.
Then again, my parents had a corded land-line phone next to their bed for the same damn reason… so as not to have to GET OUT OF BED if some jerk calls you at 4am.Then again, my parents’ corded phone didn’t act as an alarm clock, daily to-do list, whitenoise sleep generator, remote control for the TV.. all of which they ALSO had next to the bed.

    Alarmist drivel.

My teenage and college age daughters sleep with their phone in the bed almost every night.  Someday when they’re married their husband is likely to be jealous.

Yeah, I keep my phone next to my bed because:
    a) it’s my only phone. Thousands of people have landline phones in their bedrooms.

    b) it’s my alarm clock.

So far, my boyfriend doesn’t seem threatened.
