Lauren here — I actually wasn’t at Marvel when they killed Deathcry, but shortly thereafter… As far as I recall, the canon relationship b/t Deathbird and Deathcry is heavily implied as mother/daughter, but the evidence for that comes from the fact that Deathcry was revealed as Lilandra’s niece (and their physical resemblance). It’s therefore possible she’s the daughter of another sibling.

I don’t see how adoption makes it any different. A daughter is a daughter. I’m sure a lot of adoptive kids and their parents would be upset if you told them that they aren’t *really* their offspring. We all know its not biological, but the bonds are there.

The bonds of feeling something for the fake child may be there but its not a real parent or blood relative. Adoptive parents are adoptive parents and an adopted child is not and will never be the person’s offspring. Don’t let that bleeding heart of yours cloud your mind with ignorance. The truth hurts and if the adoptive children’s feeling are hurt if you tell them that their adoptive mother was not the one that gave birth to them then they are ridiculous and ignorant too. Just cause a woman adopted a child does not mean its considered that she gave birth to it after 9th months of labor. this tree doesnt use the terminology of daughter or son. its says “offspring” which is strictly biological.

You have to include Psylocke’s family tree and Cannon Ball’s family tree.  Connect Psylocke to Archangel and Husk to Archangel.

Actually, the Origin comic strongly implies that James Howlett and Dog are at least half-brothers.  The confrontation in the mansion is the result of Thomas Logan wanting Mrs. Howlett back.  Combine that with the fact that grown Logan looks just like Thomas Logan and it seems pretty clear Thomas Logan is the real father.  Therefore if Dog is his son, he and James Howlett (which is to say Sabretooth and Wolverine) are at least half-brothers.
