Finally, Rocksteady, the studio behind the first two Arkham games,Ā is coming back to theĀ series with the next entry announced today,Ā Batman: Arkham Knight. They’re coming back in style, too, with an all new Batmobile which seems to draw heavy inspiration from “The Tumbler” in theĀ Dark Knight movies, because tank-driving Batman is the best Batman.
Looks like I’ll be buying a new console this year after all, because the game is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at an unspecified date in 2014. Here you go, early adopters: this is the game you’ve been waiting forāunless you’re waiting for some other game, and then I do not understand you.
From the looks of the trailer, as well as just the inclusion of a Batmobile, it seems that the new game will feature an even more open world than Arkham CityĀ with a lot of emphasis on driving.Ā GTA: Batman Edition? Yes, please. Where do I sign up for that?
