Homemade AT-AT Bed Is A Dream Come True

When I was a kid, we all thought race car beds were the coolest thing possible. Turns out we were all dead wrong. Derek Dutilly has upped the ante by building his son the undisputed champion of elevated novelty beds: the Star Wars AT-AT bed. According to the Dutilly family blog, the whole project took about six and a half weeks and 60 hours of labor. This was inarguably time well spent.

    although this guy should get a medal for best dad of the year, he should really of measured the room before making this thing, he cant even close the door to the bedroom!

    That only appears to be a minor inconvinience… If building an Elevated AT-AT Bed can be done, rearranging the room to suit shouldn’t be a problem…
