Avatar and Pocahantas: Separated at Birth? (Trailer Mashup)

If you frequent popular Web 2.0 social media community “the Internet,” you may have seen this plot summary for Avatar, which (spoiler alert:) is actually a plot summary for Pocahantas, with all of the names switched.

Now, Randy Szuch has taken that logic a step further with this uncanny mashup trailer: the audio from Avatar‘s trailer dubbed over scenes from Pocahantas.

The most uncanny sync-ups:

1) “welcome to Pandora” –> shot of beautiful waterfall.

2) evil governor’s talk of treasure –> map of Native American lands with a giant treasure box on top of them.

3) “bows and arrows” line –> Native American troops with bows and arrows.

4) everything.
