A Time Lapse Video of Braces in Action

As anyone who has had braces knows, their effect is so gradual it sometimes feels like they’re not doing anything at all — but this is not so. In this vintage time-lapse video, taken by an orthodontist in Indiana, we see eighteen months of one eleven-year-old girl’s orthodontic treatment condensed into 60 seconds. There’s some truly dramatic shifting going on.
