This is Geronimo, and he’s a very clever dog that can do all sorts of tricks, including jumping rope double dutch. Developers Say Wii U is Less Powerful Than PS3 and Xbox 360

It looks like the next generation of console will subject Nintendo to what this generation did: Anonymous developers have reported that though the Wii U will finally be a Nintendo console capable of delivering HD graphics, the console itself can’t match the graphical power of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The point of contention being, of course, that the Wii U is a next-gen console, and won’t be as graphically powerful as consoles that will be considered last-gen when the Wii U releases.

Watch This Bridge Get Completely Blown Away in a Massive Demolition [Video]

Completed in 1929, the Fort Steuben Bridge spanned the Ohio River for some 83 years before it finally met its match in the form of 153 pounds of explosives. The decision to do away with the bridge apparently came from mounting concerns over its structural integrity, and decreased traffic in the wake of increased weight restrictions for vehicles crossing the bridge. It’d also become functionally obsolete, on account of the completion of the nearby Veterans Memorial Bridge in 1990. With all that against it, there wasn’t much else to do with the crossing except blow it to hell. See another view of the demolition, after the break.

The Incendiary Explosion Art of Geoffrey H Short

When describing his series of explosion photographs, New Zealand artist Geoffrey H Short told the Daily Mail, “I am not trying to tell people what they should think, rather I am making art objects which I hope will make people think.” Which is convenient, because his work lends itself to a myriad of interpretations; is it a statement about fossil fuel consumption, about war, about fear, about the explosive forces of nature which began all things? Or are they like formless clouds on which we can project our thoughts. Whatever answer works for you, Short’s work is as mesmerizing as it is terrifying. See more pictures, after the break.

Older Brother Promises Younger Brother All The Money He Can Catch [Video]

It seems that brothers Jack and Dan somehow struck a bargain. Dan likely assumed that he would probably be out a few bucks, and that Jack would be happy. This turned out to be only half true, as Jack wound up very happy.
