If you’re trying to make some sort of statement, or really want to be ironic in some way that doesn’t quite make sense, or are really into serial killers and also jewelry, you’ll be happy to know that — somehow — there are at least three different kinds of Jeffrey Dahmer earrings in the wild, some of which you can purchase.

Turn Your Neighborhood Into A Custom Google Maps Blanket or Mapkin

You may remember those cool little carpets that had little roads and cartoony buildings on them that gave you a chance to drive your Hot Wheels around on something that was more reminiscent of a road than a linoleum floor. Well, it’s the future now, so we’re past that. Nowadays, you get a blanket that’s custom-made to be a giant map of your neighborhood, or anywhere else you choose, based on data from Google Maps. Or a “mapkin napkin if you want to go a little smaller. This is precisely the service Soft Cities provides, and it is pretty sweet.

Pac-Man Ported To Handmade Coffee Table

Pac-Man has been ported to a lot of different systems. Now, it seems like he’s been ported to the coffee table. Designed by Kiran Hungin, this Pac-Man coffee table mosaic features a detailed close-up, sacrificing the lion’s share of the maze’s empty space to focus on more critical features, like the misproportioned ghost pen and a non-canonical yellow ghost. If these little inaccuracies don’t bug you, you can actually purchase the table from the U.K. version of Etsy, Folksy. It’s not exactly cheap though, at a price of around $360. Still, it’s certainly unique, that is of course, unless you just go and make your own.

Put Your 3D-Printed Head On These Superhero Action Figures

It’s pretty much a sure thing that, at some point or another, you’ve imagined yourself as a superhero. It’s a perfectly geeky way to day dream. What if that’s not enough though? A Kickstarter Project to Buy Kickstarter

Kickstarter has helped spawn some noble projects, not the least of which were a pair of enormous ten-story tall Tesla coils. However, comedian Eric Moneypenny has another idea. He’s planning to use Kickstarter to crowdsource enough money to buy Kickstarter. “I live with a simple dream,” writes Moneypenny. “A dream to own Kickstarter.”

If You Act Fast, You Could Own This 1980 Dodge Omni That Runs on Electricity

Much as how Doc Brown proclaimed that if one is going to make a time machine out of a car, why not make it out of a classic, if you’re going to convert a conventional car into an electric one, you may as well use a 1980 Dodge Omni.

The Omni, whose soul characteristic is that it was a sporty-ish car that has not aged well, was never intended to be an electric car. However, Texas company Jet Industries took delivery of 19 Omnis in 1980, added a 23-horse power DC electric motor, and rechristened them the Jet Electricia. Oh, and it runs on 20 brand new lead-acid batteries — 15 in the trunk, and five in the front. Despite having never been sullied by a conventional engine, the cars are still marred by terrible 1980s automobile design.

And now you can buy one for the shockingly reasonable price of $3, 383 on eBay. The car in question has apparently spent several years in an Indiana museum, with fewer than 3,000 miles on its odometer. If you’re an obscure car collector or a fan of boring 80s cars in gunmetal grey, this is a must-have.

World’s Largest Sushi Roll Actually on a Menu

Umewaka Restaurant in Anjo City, Japan, has an unusual item on its menu. The so-called “Generous Roll” is an eight-inch thick maki sushi roll that weighs about 13 pounds. A single roll, which I guarantee cannot be finished in one sitting, will set you back ¥15,000 (about $196). Each of these gargantuan roll contains 24 individual ingredients laid out on six feet of rice and seaweed prior to rolling.

How does one eat such a massive maki? Sliced into wheels and quartered like a pie, obviously. Amazingly, this single roll is on the menu and can be ordered by any patron willing to part with the cash, and also able to provide two days notice to the chef. The restaurant also features enormous nigiri sushi, which look like gigantic cartoon versions of the normally bite-sized morsels. One piece of nigiri contains most of an octopus, another an entire fish filet.
