This video may be almost as old as the modern Internet itself — it allegedly aired on an episode of German variety show Wetten dass..? in 1997 — but it’s obligatory viewing if you haven’t already seen it. In a stunt that no one has conclusively proven to be a fake, a Liebherr excavator climbs to the top of a massive steel pole as onlookers cheer.

Also in Liebherr video stunts: an excavator drops a small waterfall’s worth of water on a car.
