Pocket Squares and Handkerchiefs Made From Microfiber, Because Everything Should Be a Lens Cloth

What's one step higher than "genius"? That's what this idea is.

Declan

You probably have a lens cloth or two lying around. They’re great, but they tend to be small and not particularly stylish. Declan Squared wants to change all that with gorgeous looking pocket squares and handkerchiefs made from the same microfiber material we use to clean our glasses and gadgets.

Declan Squared quickly blew past its Kickstarter goal of $6,000 and are well on their way to ten times that amount, and it’s not hard to see why. Anyone who carries a handkerchief or wears pocket squares regularly can immediately see the appeal of using it to clean their glasses, phone screen, camera lens, or whatever else needs a gentle microfiber rubdown.

The campaign has a little less than a week to go, so there’s still time to grab some rewards. As you might expect, the various backing levels get you pocket squares or handkerchiefs. Those start at the $20 level for white, and $25 gets you the pocket square of your choice. That’s a great price for a decent pocket square, and well worth the money for the added feature of it being a lens cloth.

If you like the idea of a more stylish lens cloth, but aren’t the pocket square type, you can get a 6″ x 8″ cloth for $5, but we really think it’s worth it go full-size on these. If you miss the campaign, you will likely be able to order the pocket squares through Declan’s site shortly after the Kickstarter backers get theirs, which should be in February.

This is such a great idea. Everything should be made out of lens cloth.
