Fresh from the Detroit Maker Faire is Chester Winowiecki, an artist and something of a DIY musician, strumming out a little tune on his home-made banjo-ukelele. He’s apparently promised to put together some instructions so anyone can whip up an instrument from old pie-tins and whatever they happen to have lying around. I can’t wait.
