“Bohemian Rhapsody” Drunk Shows Up to Trial Wearing Sunglasses, Viking Helmet

You might recall the drunk Canadian man from earlier this year that charmed the pants off the Internet with his shockingly accurate rendition of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” from the back of a police cruiser. That man, Robert Wilkinson, recently made his court appearance to defend himself against the charges stemming from his little incident. He didn’t do himself any favors. Wilkinson showed up wearing a horned Viking helmet, a NASA shirt with “I need my space” on display, and sunglasses. Needless to say, it didn’t go well.

According to National Post, Wilkinson ended up being convicted of refusing a breathalyzer test and impaired driving. The ruling’s grand total came to a $1,400 fine and a year of being barred from driving. Considering the fact that he represented himself, it’s not all that surprising that the ruling turned out the way it did.

Here’s the original video of Wilkinson’s breakout performance:

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

I always have found it disturbing that an Americans guilt is dependent on if you have an attorney not if you are guilty.

    You, too?

Oh, you poor thing. Don’t you know? It is the job of the citizen to prove their innocence, not the Government to prove the citizens guilt.

What next? Should we ask that the Government stop shooting people because it is wrong for citizens to do so?

  • Toby Mole

So wait.. the govt can do things they tell us not too? Sounds about right…

I have always found it disturbing that no one ever pays attention to the facts when they criticize the government. Did not a single one of you read the article? This all happened in Canada, not America. Plus, if he refused a breathalyzer test thats an AUTOMATIC DUI in both the United States and Canada. So yes, he was found guilty. Plus, disrespecting a court is never going to help. Also, both the United States and Canada will give you an attorney if you ask for one. So it was his own fault, NOT ANY GOVERNMENTS. Maybe you should educate yourself before you speak about, oh, I dont know, anything?

Thank you. And let’s add that a $1,400 fine and a year’s suspension for drunk driving hardly seems onerous.

bayhuntr is an absolute idiot. Go read his other posts. High on opinion, low on fact. Canada. Say it with, slowly. Canada.

I was actually expecting this douche to belt out the song with some talent by how the article made it seem. Big deal some drunk tard that knows all the words. Thanks for the waste.

Wow, people are still using that slur? I thought we’d stopped subjecting people to ridicule by using people with disabilities as an unfavorable comparison. I guess not.

Yes Canada, but I was referencing what I’m familiar with, also the reason I explicitly said “America” and did not make it in general. I also never suggested fault. My comment was in reference to “He did not do himself any favors…” And the concept that the hat you have on has any reference to your guilt. Or, in America where the higher price you pay for your defense, has a direct correlation to often one is found guilty. Now, try not to get yourself all disturbed.

You’re good at name calling, but what “fact” did I get wrong? What other posts? On this subject or other subjects? This took place in Canada, my comment was in comparison, but maybe the nuance was over your head. It you have problems with my facts on other subjects, try responding to me on those threads. Or maybe you “facts” aren’t up to it?

I think he admitted to murder on Camera. Something to do with putting a gun against his head, and then pulling the trigger and now he’s dead.

Don’t be disturbed Hedrick! What other stereotypes do you have to impress us with your intelligence?
