Here is why you should not jump in a conversation without having something constructive to add:

1. Your example has nothing to do with me, my stance on the matter is not known by you. Given that I wasn’t even born at the time, I find it odd that you would use that as an example. How about something a little more topical? I could see if you made this statement after the victim’s memoir was released, but you jumped the gun.

2. You actually are trying to make a point, without an facts to substantiate it (i.e. tying me to whoopie’s stance). Funny that you try and make a point without facts in the same statement where you are trying to accuse me of not caring about facts.

3. Making the claim that for Liberals the only thing that is important is feelings, (whether true or not) is referring to empathy. Empathy would mean that a majority of liberals would feel pain simply because the victim felt pain. This would make them more inclined to stand with the victim. Your aversion to feelings would make you less able to be empathetic.

4. Finally, if you would reread my statements it would be very clear that I have taken a stance that we need more facts on this case before we jump to judgement. Trying to then claim that I don’t care about facts is very silly and as previously indicated in #3, lacking in facts.

That one sentence was the extent of the gay character’s line in the promo.
