People Fall Over Worldwide to Bring Back FlashForward [Video]

Apparently I’m not the only one who thinks FlashForward deserved another season. Across the world, fans of the series staged a global blackout of their own (the good kind, not the solar storm apocalypse kind) in London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Pisa, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles. Those California collapsers had the privelege to pass out in front of ABC studios itself in Burbank. What an honor.

It seems unlikely, to put it lightly, that this is going to have any effect at all. Despite being global, it wasn’t on that massive a scale. ABC execs are unlikely to stop and think, “Well, because those scattered few would watch the show if we brought it back, let’s do it.” That’s not to say there isn’t a big enough fan base to merit the show returning. They just didn’t all participate in this weird global protest.

Here’s some expert cinematography documenting the blackout. Hell, these guys could just team up and remake the series themselves. Did someone say, “YouTube spin-off series”?

Now, if these people had seen the future when they did this, ABC would probably reconsider. But unless their futures all happen to include lying down in the exact same spot they did for the protest, they probably just saw the present.

I *love* the premise of Flash Forward, but I was disappointed in the show.

There was no decent character development. I just didn’t care about any of them. I wasn’t rooting for Olivia to end up with either guy. I didn’t particularly want Demetri to die, but I wasn’t overly concerned about it.

Mark got just plain annoying. Do we really need more middle-aged white guy angst?

Oh, and I had to look up all the character names on IMDB, because none of them stuck with me.

What about the concept ? I love qauntum physics and the unlimited possibilities etc. I think the show was more about the development of the concepts of blackouts, the” future already happened” or past , present and future are happening at the same times, parallel universes? i think the show wants to challenge us at that level. More development of the characters could happen if the show continue.  just an idea. I love the show!!
