#FollowFriday: Fake Library Stats (@FakeLibStats)

The stats are fake, but the jokes are real.

Recommended Videos

It’s that time again, Internet. #FollowFriday is our weekly segment where we recommend a Twitter account for you to follow. Usually we focus on people, but this week it’s Fake Library Stats (@FakeLibStats).

What it is

As the name implies, it’s an account that tweets out fake statistics about librarians and libraries.

Why you should follow

I’ll admit to a bit of a personal bias towards this account. My wife is a librarian, but I’m willing to bet a lot of geeks can appreciate the humor in the account.

Great tweets
