#FollowFriday: Robert Downey Jr. (@RobertDowneyJr)

Yes, we know it's Saturday, but just... shh.

Recommended Videos

Okay, we know it’s technically Saturday, but we’re bringing you a day-late Follow Friday in honor of a very special someone who just joined the Twitterverse last night. Ladies and gentlemen, please go and follow the one and only RDJ. Or Tony Stark. We can’t tell the difference anymore.

Who he is

Guys. He’s Robert Downey Jr. Like his Twitter bio says, you know who he is.

Why you should follow

In addition to being a wonderful actor and also mother-flipping Iron Man, RDJ is basically a real-life superhero. Remember when he went to Jamie Foxx’s 5-year-old daughter’s birthday party because she told all her friends she knew Tony Stark? Or how he celebrated his 49th birthday by having a bunch of awesome kids over and screening Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Also, his Facebook account is basically just him posting amazing behind-the-scenes photos of the Avengers and re-posting any meme he can find online that involves Iron Man, so if Twitter brings us more of the same we are totally fine with that. RDJ’s account is still new (he only started tweeting last night, in honor of his one-year anniversary on Facebook), but here’s what we’ve got so far.

We look forward to much snarkiness and kind-heartedness, and excellent bro-y times with Jon Favreau. So go follow RDJ right here!
