Full The Hobbit Trailer Makes An Unexpected Journey Onto YouTube [Video]

So it looks like for the new Lord of the Rings movie, they’re ripping off Star Wars and doing the whole prequel thing. They’ll be hard pressed to make something better than The Phantom Menace though, am I right? That being said this trailer actually makes The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey look pretty good for a shameless Harry Potter clone. I might have to check it out.

    Yea Eric-  i’m not sure if that was a joke or what..  but it was very lost on me. Calling The Hobbit (one of the top Fantasy books of all time) a shameless Harry Potter clone is like saying Marilyn Monroe is a Kim Kardasian clone.  Not much shameless here..  or cloning.

    Eric, maybe you should go write for someone else..that doesn’t have GEEK in the title so you can slam one of the greatest fantasy books of all time that, if anything close to the three previous LOTR films, will surely be very well done. I think you should be a geek to write for geekosystem but what do I know I have a real job!

    wow how do you even get a job writing here the hobbit was the first book to layout the ground work for the lord of the rings written by the same author also if anything you should have said harry potter is a clone of the hobbit it came over 80 years before how is it a clone?

    yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh. someone didnt see the last 2 harry potter movies they puked out. i read this book for the first time in 3rd grade so it holds special meaning for me, and that insult hurt. anyway im SO STOKED to see, and it looks great (especially gloin!!) ! also LOTR LEGOs on thee way! what an awesome addition to this great news.
