So you know that whatever you’re going to get the geek in your life for Christmas is going to be expensive, but beyond that, you’re completely lost. It’s cool. We got you. Check out this infographic, courtesy the team at Ebay Gifts and take notes. The graphic covers geeks of all styles and ages and lists some pretty fantastic gifts, all of which I would be more than happy to receive. Hint hint. Not only are there gift ideas, but also short little lists of important features. It’s definitely a great cheat sheet for all the gifters in your life who are constantly buying you socks, and socks you don’t like at that.

    I’m amused, but not offended, that all the geeks are guys.

    Yeah, I don’t think any of these things were on our Christmas lists. I suppose they’re safe gift ideas for people who don’t know their geek well and know what they want. My geek? He’s getting a lifetime membership to Champions Online (plus a new mouse and new Xbox controller for his laptop), then I’m getting it for myself for my birthday, possibly sooner if I’m impatient. It beats the monthly payments.

    eBay says, “Here is a list of things that all cost hundreds of dollars. You should give them as gifts to your geek friends. Do you know a geek who wants an XBox but doesn’t already have one? That’s a great gift idea.”

    The real victim here is the geek who gets a 3DS. I hope they film that unwrapping and mail it to Jimmy Kimmel.
