Google Adds Graphing Calculator to Search Results
by James Plafke | 9:45 am, December 6th, 2011
Google has announced that they’ve added graphing calculator functionality right into search results. To use the new feature, a user must simply type a function into the search bar, click search, and the engine will do your math for you, and display the results in a tidy, graphical format.
The graphs allow users to zoom and pan across the plane, and the search results will plot multiple functions so long as they are separated with commas. Google made sure the new feature covers a wide range of single variable functions, including exponential, trigonometric, logarithmic and their compositions. So, have at it, math people. Can you out-do Google’s adorable heart graph?
