Five More Rivalries We Need Paul the Psychic Octopus to Settle

Paul the psychic octopus, everyone’s favorite animal oracle who’s guessed the outcomes of Germany’s 2010 World Cup matches with 100% accuracy, has made his selection for the winner: While his owner has cautioned that Paul’s expertise is in German matches, Paul has come to the conclusion that Spain will ultimately beat the Netherlands.

All That Spinoffs: The Family Tree

Earlier today, actress Amanda Bynes announced her retirement from acting at the venerable age of 24 years old via Twitter. In her words:

I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play

Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem

If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it

I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it

I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired

While Bynes had broken into film and will be appearing in Easy A with Emma Stone, that will be the last time we see her supposedly act. It’s a dark day indeed.

But we remember a brighter time, when child stars were still children and they starred in a sketch comedy series on Nickelodeon called All That. The series was the launching point not only for Amanda Bynes, but for a great many other then-young actors as well. In honor of Bynes’ retirement, we have created this infographic to document the evolution of All That and it’s endless, growing tree of spin-offs that are still giving young actors a chance to shine. Someday they, too, may retire at 24.
