IKEA Releases 100 Cats Into a Store as an Experiment

IKEA’s “Herding Cats” experiment consisted of their releasing 100 cats into their store in Wembley, London: The adorable, thrilling results can be seen above. While filming lots of cats and setting it to music might sound like a viral marketing slam dunk, this project was a bold one in that these cats were not trained for TV, much less to be let loose in a giant IKEA. Though we do hope they cleaned up afterwards for the sake of customers with cat allergies.

    And what wisdom did they derive from this “experiment”?
    How about focusing their budget allocations towards making products cheaper for consumers…? maybe?
