Woman Says Jessica Rabbit Inspired Her to Get Over 100 Lip Injections

This is Kristina Rei. She’s a 22-year old nail technician in St. Petersburg, Russia, and she’s had over 100 lip-enhancing injections since she was 17. While some people’s motivation for getting cosmetic surgery can be extremely complex and personal, Rei sums up hers quite succinctly as quoted by The Sun: ”I loved Jessica Rabbit’s huge lips. She was my idea of the perfect woman.”

All told, Rei has spent some $6,200 on silicone lip injections. However, it seems that the question of whether or not Rei posses the worlds largest lips is an open topic. As of writing, the Guinness Book of World Records does not have an entry for her. But should there be someone with more artificial lip out there, he or she should apparently be wary. Rei says that she plans to have even more injections.

I want to go more extreme. I want to look like a cartoon character. I am addicted to it, I love it.

No offense to Ms. Rei, but I personally find that particular statement extremely chilling.

    I’m all for people doing what they want if they aren’t hurting anyone. That said, I’m curious how good those 100+ decisions will seem in about 20 years or more.

    Bummer… She is achieving her goal (looking like a cartoon character). Besides those wax halloween looking lips, she appears quite pretty… If trends hold true she’ll eventually find other “problems” and get her face and possibly the rest of her body hacked on until she’s 40 and looks like the crypt-keeper in a human suit. I’ve never seen a case of someone addicted to cosmetic surgery end up “pretty” (pun intended).

    While I agree, I must point out that everyone always says stuff like this – plus she might get hit by a bus tomorrow :)

    she looks stupid, looks like a circus clown. She was probably pretty before the surgery, but now she’s ugly. How stupid can someone be to do something like this to themselves.

    When someone looks like you, they have no room to judge. You may be pretty after plastic surgery, but now you’re ugly. How stupid can you be to judge someone when you have absolutely no room to judge? That’s, how do you say? “Pot calling the kettle black”, maybe?!
