Ladder Parkour
by Robert Quigley | 9:37 am, August 3rd, 2010
Pomparkour, or parkour with ladders, claims to hail from the French firemen, or pompier, of the late 1800s, who carried ladders with hooks that “could be used on windows and ledges to reach every floor of the building they were scaling.” It may actually be a viral advertisement for some sort of New Zealand energy drink, but I am OK with that: even as a swill-shilling stunt, it makes for fascinating viewing. (And looks dangerous!)
