Today Is Lisa Simpson’s Wedding Day

Yesterday, someone famous got married, and it was supposedly a pretty big deal. But today marks the date of a wedding that we’ve been anticipating for the past 15 years: Lisa Simpson‘s, as foretold in Simpsons Season 6.

The Simpsons is currently between seasons, with Season 21 having wrapped up in May and Season 22 not beginning until September 26th. Last we checked, Lisa was still eight years old and far off from being the 23-year-old university student who falls madly for Hugh Parkfield. What psychic could’ve predicted that?
