These Are Funny New Yorker Cartoons That Were Once Not As Funny
by Max Eddy | 2:37 pm, January 10th, 2011
This is a New Yorker comic. It used to have a different caption, and now it has this one thanks to the blog The Monkeys You Ordered. It is now funnier. This in itself is funny because the new caption merely describes what is going on in the panel, instead of a carefully constructed punchline.
That is the joke. Thank you for reading.

(Full disclosure: I attended a course in college taught by Robert Mankoff, the current cartoon editor for the New Yorker. Bob, I still respect you.)
