Man Sues WikiLeaks for $150 Million Worth of Emotional Distress

A Florida man named David Pitchford is suing WikiLeaks and founder Julian Assange for causing him some serious emotional distress. Pitchford’s reasoning is as follows: He says that WikiLeaks’ release of thousands of sensitive documents endangered him and every person in the United States “and the entire planet,” and that this constitutes the intentional and negligent affliction of emotional distress.

Per Pitchford, this has caused him five forms of personal injury:

A. A worsening of Plantiffs hyper tention;

B. A worsening of Plaintiffs depression;

C. A Worsenig of Plaintiff’s Stress;

D. Living in constant fear of being stricken by another heart attack and or stroke  as a result of the foregoing;

E. In fear of being on the brink of Nucliar WAR

For his pains, Pitchford wants $150 million. Full legal papers below:

Blogger superkuh tracked down and interviewed Pitchford and found him to be “an alright guy,” though he contends that the lawsuit is “bullshit.”

    While it may appear stupid at first glance. I contemplated an action against BP back when they were dragging their feet on stopping that leaker. <—-There's that word again.:) Being Oil field trash I saw what was going on for what it was. And I stressed over it big time. Made it a full time job of being in BP's face about it. In essence gave up over three months of my life over it until BP finally got the message and did what they should have done the first week. The link below was how I finally got their attention.

    This is ridiculously frivolous. Is there a bookmaker please who’ll take my bet it’s thrown out of Court?

    Hmmm, maybe the millions of us who are sane should be suing our government for the years of stress they have put us under forcing us to watch them destroy our country and making us watch them murder and maim and torture all over the world.
