Microsoft’s Solitaire Win Screen Sculpture

Lars Marcus and Theos of Skrekkøgle used the medium of sculpture to take us back to the days of our youth, playing Microsoft’s Solitaire in typing class when we were supposed to be learning how to type words that can be spelled with only our left hand (you don’t scare me anymore, “stewardesses”). Made from over one thousand pixellated cut and glued cards, the sculpture depicts the win screen from Solitaire when the cards spaz out and leave trails of themselves all over the screen — an effect that would quickly become a dreaded menu box error on most Windows machines. Continue on below for some more pictures of the nostalgia-inducing art.
