Finally: A business card you can play with. Model kit company Tamiya decided to promote their wares with a plastic business card that, in addition to displaying their address and contact information, is actually a fully functional mini-modeling kit. Snap off the pieces and reassemble, and you’ve got a racecar, a plane, or a boat! The Centurions would approve.
According to Coloribus’ global advertising archive, the card was such a success in the modeling community that people specifically requested it: “The novelty of the concept became a topic of conversation between modeling enthusiasts, leading to people rushing to the shops, specifically requesting a name card.”
