Facebook may be dominant in countries that speak English (and, increasingly, in countries that don’t), but it still has significant competition from other social networking sites worldwide, including QZone in China, VKontakte in Russia, and Orkut in Brazil — wait, Orkut!? Using Alexa and Google Trends for Websites data, Vincenzo Cosenza has created a world map of popular social networks by country.
