Forget the uncut Avatar sex scene. For all you science fiction loving geeks out there, here’s an event just for you:
On Friday March 5, 2010 NYC’s Pinchbottom Burlesque will be hosting notoriously nude literary salon Naked Girls Reading at Manhattan’s Madame X. As if naked girls reading anything wasn’t intriguing enough on its own, the genre of the night will be science fiction. For one fleeting evening, these lovely ladies will read to you from a fine selection of classic sci-fi, including Arthur C. Clarke, Aldous Huxley, H.G. Wells, and Douglas Adams. In an interview with Broadwayworld.com, Naked Girls Reading host Nasty Canasta promises “Watching these women read is like a utopian vision of a perfect future.”
In times like these, nothing quells the suffering of the masses like a strong dose of hard-hitting dystopian science fiction delivered on the wings of a naked angel. We’re guessing this event might sell out fast, so you might want to get your tickets soon.
