New Twitter Now Available to Everyone

About a month ago, Twitter announced they’d be relaunching their site with a new split screen design at an undetermined date in the near future. “The near future” meant today, as the new Twitter is now available to everyone.
The biggest news about the relaunch, aside from the design based on the aesthetically pleasing Golden Ratio, was that Twitter will be relaunching with inline pictures and video, no longer requiring users to rely on third party image and video hosting services.
In an announcement on Twitter’s blog, which was (hypocritically?!) too long for its own 140 character philosophy, Twitter announced the rollout, as well as a few other tidbits, such as Twitter is now natively available in six different languages and the service now boasts around 160 million users in total.
Currently, Twitter users have the option to choose between the old Twitter and the new Twitter, but not for very long, as the old Twitter will be removed within the next few weeks.
