This Exists: The Hoverboard From Back to the Future II in Real Life [VIDEO]

Ever since I saw Static Shock riding on a trash can lid, I’ve wanted some sort of hoverboard. Looks like French artist Nils Guadagnin has come to my rescue, building a prototype of the hoverboard from Back to the Future II. And it hovers with perfect grade. It just can’t, you know, carry objects. At least not one as heavy as a human.
The board floats with a magnet system, which is nothing new, but the stabilization system works astoundingly well. Look how level that board is. Too see the board in action, watch the video below courtesy of Gizmodo. If Guadagnin makes one of these that’s trash can lid shaped, I’m buying. Name your price.
