Take Twitter Chats Off-Grid with Nurph

Twitter is superb for short-and-sweet status updates, but in its present form, has no means to effectively manage conversations between two or more people. Users are limited to a 140 character cap, so trying to provide tech support or hold a meaningful conversation is extremely cumbersome.
Nurph aims to provide a simple way of taking conversations to a more practical environment while still remaining integrated with the Twitter experience. Once you log on to Nurph, it automagically creates an ad-hoc chatroom at “Nurph.com/YourName” that is linked directly with your existing Twitter account. Nurph adopts your Twitter profile design and features username autocomplete to make the transition as seamless as possible. Anyone can join your personal chatroom, but only users you follow can respond (to reduce spam).
Unlike an IRC chartroom, Nurph doesn’t need to be constantly monitored for new messages, and can be used on an as-needed basis when conversations get too wordy. Flooding your follower’s timelines with @replies can quickly become annoying, so popping open a Nurph window can make everyone’s life just a little bit easier.
