To be fair, Barack Obama’s Twitter account isn’t run by Barack Obama himself. It says right in the description “This account is run by Organizing for Action staff.” The account follows over 660,000 people, so it’s obviously not being that well curated. Still. Maybe the Organizing for Action staff should have more sense than to follow porn companies like Wicked Pictures which produces titles like Bikini Outlaws. This isn’t the first time the President’s account has been caught following porn either.

Not willing to trust a picture I saw on the Internet, I confirmed with House that he took the screenshot himself, and I checked DoesFollow.com to make sure it’s a legitimate follow:
According to Twitchy, this isn’t the first porn account @BarackObama has followed. They reported in October of last year that the account follows @ILikeTitsDaily, and then in December caught him following @PlayBoyMan. I checked with DoesFollow.com and it looks like @BarackObama has since stopped following @PlayBoyMan, but is still following @ILikeTitsDaily.
The @BarackObama account follows a lot of people, and control of the account is the hands of a few people, none of whom are Barack Obama himself. With 660,000 accounts being followed, some of them have to be porn. That’s just statistics.
Seriously though, Organizing for Action, get your act together. There’s a few obvious rules when you’re in charge of the President’s Twitter account, and not following porn accounts is one of them. I’d be happy to take over the account for you if you can’t do it responsibly. I’m already providing that service for Ramapo College of New Jersey this fall.
With the President’s account following so many people, I got curious about whether he followed me.
