Parks and Recreation Wedding Album’s the Best Use of Pinterest Yet

We’re not saying Pinterest is for the birds, but the social media platform definitely attracts a certain kind of material. If it’s not cute pictures of animals, inventive uses for leftover cardboard boxes, or something to do with fashion, it probably doesn’t belong on Pinterest. That said, someone over at NBC has totally figured out this social media thing. A recent Parks and Recreation episode saw Ben Wyatt and Leslie Knope tie the knot in their own haphazard way, and NBC put up a faux wedding album for the characters on Pinterest.

Seriously. I get that this is a wedding album for two people that don’t actually exist, but it’s probably my favorite wedding album that’s ever existed. The whole gang’s present, and the images were shot much like an actual wedding photographer might have shot them.

In short, it’s glorious.

    Look. At. How. Cute. These. Two. Are. If only Adam Scott weren't married...

  2. No. 2 | The Gang's All Here

    The current characters that make up the town of Pawnee, Indiana are probably my favorite television characters in years. Well, except for Justified maybe, but there'll never be a wedding episode on that show.

  3. No. 3 | Chris Traeger Helps Ben Out

    We're glad Rob Lowe's Chris Traeger stuck around. He's been a bit listless of late, but his wedding scenes were perfect.

  4. No. 4 | Of Course Ron Walks Her Down the Aisle

    Leslie has Ron walk her down the aisle, because he's that awesome.

  5. No. 5 | Yes, I Know They're Fictional

    If only they weren't! They're genuinely the perfect television couple. Sure, we saw Jim and Pam get married over on The Office ages ago, but this goes above and beyond.

  6. No. 6 | Andy Dwyer's Serious About the Guitar

    Andy Dwyer is a man of many talents. Most of these have to do with playing the guitar, but some of them have to do with making April happy.

  7. No. 7 | Ben and Leslie

    Is there a more perfect television romance? I think not.

  8. No. 8 | There's No Man Like Ron Swanson

    Sometimes it's hard to tell where Nick Offerman ends and Ron Swanson begins.

  9. No. 9 | Seriously Though, They Are Just Too Cute

    Again with the cuteness! It's the best faux wedding album ever.

    This is the best news I’ve had all day! I actually didn’t even know what Pinterest was until a few months ago when one of my friends I work with at DISH showed me all of the great recipes that are posted there. I can’t wait to tell her that Ben and Leslie’s wedding album are up there too; I’m sure she’s going to flip! I know I flipped when their wedding finally happened since I wasn’t expecting it to go down the way it did. I know it’s fake, but it’s a wedding that I want to keep saved for a long time, and with my DISH Hopper, I know that this is actually possible. It can hold up to 1,250 SD or 450 HD hours of whatever I want to record, so I know I’ll NEVER have to delete the wedding to make space to record more.
