We’ve been getting really excited for the upcoming Showtime series Penny Dreadful. From what we’ve seen of some of the character profiles, it looks like it’s shaping up to be some great genre television. Showtime calls it “profoundly unsettling,” and they just gave us the first episode to share.

The series reimagines some of literature’s most famous characters and puts them together in a psychosexual Victorian England. It’s is set to premiere on Showtime on May 11th, but why wait? You can just watch it now.
