The trailer for the highly anticipated movie (or at least highly anticipated for those among us who have ever experienced the pain that is graduate school) adaptation of PhD Comics has arrived. “PhD” standing for Piled Higher and Deeper, is based on the online comic by Jorge Cham. The movie was produced in part by the California Institute of Technology, where it was also filmed.
The movie chronicles the ups and downs of academic life by following four graduate students who are regulars in Cham’s comic: Cecilia, Mike, Tajel, and the “Nameless Grad Student.” Screenings of the film can be arranged for college campuses this fall on the movie’s website.
