PlayStation Phone Rumors Rise Again With New, Watchable Video Footage

Earlier this week some handicammed blurry footage of what we were supposed to take to be a PlayStation phone surfaced and a reasonable amount of ado was made. This is not that handicammed footage.
This comes to the internet courtesy of Engadget, and there’s even a little bit more after the break, giving us a look at the (currently empty) games menu.
Unfortunately Sony still has made no official announcement, even of the phone’s existence, much less it’s hardware specs and capabilities. From GameRant:
Could this phone be capable of playing PlayStation 1 games, PlayStation 2 games, or even, dare I say it, PlayStation 3 games? While PS3 games are certainly unlikely, it is absolutely within the realm of possibility that, given the iPhone’s advancements in gaming, that this new tech would be capable of running some old-school classics.
According to Engadget, the device shown in the video is codenamed Zeus Z1. Come on Sony. Give Apple a run for their money in the phone-that-is-a-viable-gaming-platform realm.
