Well, Now You Know What the Pokémon Black and White Starters Look Like

A Japanese gaming magazine called CoroCoro has published the first official pictures of the starter Pokémans in Pokémon Black and White. Named (from left to right) Tsutaja, Pokabu, and Mijumaru in Japanese, their names are likely to change as they transition to English, as most Pokémon’s have in the past. It’s also pretty much confirmed at this point that they obey the standard grass/fire/water starter trichotomy that’s existed for time immemorial, though it’ll be interesting to see if any have cool secondary types.

Also from CoroCoro, this is what their vaguely hipsterish trainers will look like:

As for the starters themselves: Meh. Much preferred the starters from this epically fake Black/White lineup that made its way around the ‘Nets in the past. (And a Grass/Dragon starter would be pretty sweet). Thoughts?

I really do like the pokemon from the fake lineup, I guess theyre creative, and some of the ‘baby’ forms are really cute, i was going to say that i especially love some. but i really love most of them, i like the squid one :3

IMO, bring these pokemon into the game :D

*sigh* This author clearly is not a fan of the games. The word “Pokemon” can be used in both the singular sense, and the plural sense. Therefore, saying “Pokemon’s” is not only grammatically incorrect, but is pluralized when it is already a plural word. Epic. Fail.
