Microsoft has promised a big Project Natal event for E3, showcasing their move to the realm of motion aided gaming, after their two console competitors. Unlike the Sony Move or the Nintendo Wii, Project Natal purports to need no controllers or colored, glowing balls on which to latch its gaze. It has appeared, in previous product displays, to be some kind of magic device that looks at you and then decides where you are. So... huh.
Hope for the potential of the device is running just as high as the skepticism, or perhaps a little below ever since Microsoft announced that their presentation would be a "technology-free" event. In other words, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
