Last week, with great fanfare, Valve cancelled their Portal 2 press event, which would have taken place the evening before the beginning of E3, promising that it would instead have a "surprise" in the same time and place. Since then, the internet has fair broiled with speculation about what this famously creative and inventive game studio might possible consider to be surprising. Unsurprisingly, Valve has remained tight lipped about the surprise.
Here's what we know. The surprise is not:
- The cancellation of the event.
- The surprising record scratch.
- Half-Life: Episode 3
The surprise is:
- About Portal 2.
