I know what you're thinking. The Discworld Series is fantasy. This is a list of science-fiction planets. Well, before writing the first Discworld book, Terry Pratchett wrote a little sci-fi novel called Strata, in which a crew of planetary engineers come across a disc-shaped world featuring all the continents of earth (except for the Americas) and populated with various medieval civilizations and mythological creatures, including Romans, Vikings, and flying carpets. They eventually (spoilers!) realize that the disc-world is a massive technological construct made by the creators of their universe as a folly, a joke, much in the same way that the novel's contemporary planetary engineers will place top hats on fossil skeletons or write their initials with a mountain range, and snicker in the knowledge that it is going to make someone, someday, very confused.
