The Thief and The Cobbler is a movie that just barely got made, but if you know anyone who is into animation, they can probably talk to you about it for at least an hour without drawing breath. Go ahead. Ask them.
The Thief, who has no voice, and no other name, is genuinely incompetent, except that the plot of the movie could not have begun if he hadn't stolen three magical orbs from the top of the Golden City's highest minaret just as a one-eyed army was approaching the city. By the end of the film he has not only stolen the words "The End" but also the flim from the projector. Take that, Carmen Sandiego!
