While not superhuman himself, Hawkeye (aka Clinton Barton) was mentored by both regular humans and superhumans to become as close to a superhuman as humanly possible. As a child, he was raised by circus performers who taught him archery, his main skill, as well as acrobatics, marksmanship, and fencing. His life as Hawkeye began when he left the circus - refusing to join his former mentor’s criminal operation - and took his archery abilities elsewhere. When he witnessed Iron Man saving a crowd at another carnival, Hawkeye decided to go into the superhero business for himself, but had something of a rocky start when he was mistaken for a thief. He responded to this like any badass would, by breaking into the Avengers' mansion and asking for a spot on the team.
Oddly enough, this succeeded.
Aside from a breif stint as a Hank Pym replacement, Barton has kept his Hawkeye identity. Training from Captain America keeps him in himself peak human condition, and an array of trick arrows that can shoot pretty much anything including suction cups, flames, and buzzsaws helps him keep up with the super dudes. You'd think that if he was going to be a Green Arrow knock off, he could have picked a better color scheme, though.
