Nathan "Joss Whedon likes me a lot" Fillion has had some pretty sweet roles: Caleb on Buffy, Captain Hammer on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and best of all (IMO), Malcolm on Firefly. Currently, he's the star of ABC's Castle -- which, shockingly, is not a Joss Whedon joint. What makes him so great, as Captain Mal and as a human being, is that he's good at balancing the serious and the funny -- he's not just a stone-jawed taciturn he-man, but he's not a clown, either. Also, he's Canadian!
