As the CEO of Digg and one of Kevin Rose's earliest collaborators in launching the site, Jay Adelson has what many might call "a total web geek's dream job." This TIME 100 profile of him said that if somebody somewhere posts "The 11 Most Unintentionally Gay Rap Lyrics Ever," and you care about unintentionally gay rap lyrics, Adelson is the guy who makes sure you see that list." Huh? Well, he manages the community, the business, and the algorithms, so he's the key driver for the growth of the social news site as it exists today. Just don't tell MrBabyMan. Yes, Kevin Rose is "the Digg guy;" he's the founder of Digg and perhaps its most visible public face. But in some respects, "the Diggnation guy" might be a better title: as Digg's star has risen, Rose has become an increasingly prominent web broadcaster, most notably with Digg's trademark ripped-from-the-headlines show. Fans should rejoice at one thing: one of his 2010 New Year's Resolutions is to "start a new tech-related podcast." --RQ
