Zapp Brannigan, the narcissistic, infinitely awkward, and yet annoyingly resilient ex-one-night-stand of Futurama's Leela isn't likely to threaten you with bodily harm once you've gone your separate ways, except out of gross negligence.
He will, however, refuse to believe that it's over, embarrass you in front of friends, sing nauseating karaoke in your honor, brag about that one time you gave him a pity lay to all of his guy friends, and probably insist on staying in touch over social networks, commenting awkwardly on every one of your wall posts. He'll also use his station as an officer of the army to mess with your life, but never quite incompetently enough to get fired.
Except that one time. And then he'll become your coworker. Just knee him in the groin and get it over with.
