Vincent and Jules, enforcers under the employ of Marsellus Wallace, are the most frequent protagonists of Pulp Fiction. Which is to say that the majority of the stories in Pulp Fiction feature one or both of them.
As henchmen go, Vincent and Jules are almost too intelligent and competent to be worthy of the name. Certainly Jules pretty much accomplishes everything that's asked of him, right up until he walks off into the sunset. Vincent, the somewhat more bumbling of the two, isn't so lucky, but underscores the most important rule of appearing in Pulp Fiction:
Never, ever, ever go to the bathroom. Only bad things happen when you go to the bathroom.
