We all want Tom Cruise‘s interface from Minority Report, right? Right. Don’t deny it.
Well, John Underkoffler would like you, or at least TED, to know that he thinks that it’ll be here within the decade. Why? Because he designed it for the movie, and has spent eight years making it real and marketable.
While we’re not quote convinced by Underkoffler’s insistence that the diverse elements of his system will become commonplace in both retail computers and architecture, the moment he turns around hand starts directing three enormous screens with simple hand gestures is still momentarily stunning.
Kinect? You’ve got some work to do.
